Sayf Eddine Essadik is an international legal practitioner with a focus on arbitration, mediation, and cross-border dispute resolution. Trained in civil law, Chinese law, and common law systems, he has held key legal and case management roles at the Asian International Arbitration Centre (AIAC), contributing to institutional rule drafting and overseeing complex international disputes, including in construction and investment arbitration. Sayf currently serves as Legal Counsel at Dinoune Law Firm in Casablanca and Legal Advisor at Zalita Zaidan Chambers in Kuala Lumpur. He is also engaged as editor on a publication led by Professor Datuk Sundra Rajoo, focusing on the UNCITRAL Model Law and the Malaysian Arbitration Act. He is pursuing a Ph.D. in International Law from Zhongnan University of Economics and Law. Sayf holds an LL.M. from Renmin University of China, a Postgraduate Diploma in Law from the University of Law in London, and an LL.B. from Hassan II University. A Lord Brougham Scholar at Lincoln’s Inn, he an active member of international legal networks including Young ICCA, the Institute for Transnational Arbitration, and the Asian Academy of International Law. He publishes on topics of private international law and comparative legal systems, with a regional focus on Asia and North Africa. Sayf's blend of practical experience and academic pursuit underscores his contributions to international legal practice.
Sharifah Shazuwin is a legally qualified international dispute resolution professional with seven (7) years of experience in alternative dispute resolution. Proven track record in administering complex arbitration cases under various institutional rules, including UNCITRAL, AIAC and BICAM. Adept at serving as tribunal secretary, managing arbitral proceedings, and supporting policy initiatives. Strong communicator and a passion for promoting international arbitration through capacity-building, research, writing, and public engagement.
She is currently a legal advisor and business development director for Zalita Zaidan Chambers.
